10 Things AEW Fans Want After Double Or Nothing

7. Improved Commentary

Many people call Jim Ross the greatest wrestling commentator of all time and, at Double Or Nothing, Good Ol' J.R. proved that he has as strong a claim to that title as he has ever had.

Ross joined the team of Excalibur - the masked commentator and former wrestler famous for his time in PWG - and Alex Marvez for the main portion of the show and the three men proved that wrestling commentary is one of the most important parts of a wrestling show. Isn't that right, Michael Cole?

Whilst Ross and Excalibur were on fine form all evening, there were a few questions asked of Marvez. He doesn't come from a wrestling background, making his name in the world of football instead and there were a few times on this show where this was very obvious, as Marvez struggled to keep up with his more experienced colleagues.

All in all, he didn't do a bad job for a first timer and he has a lot of potential, but AEW fans definitely need to see an improvement if they are to remain happy with the company's decision to hire him.

Also, he kinda sounds the same as Excalibur, which is confusing beyond belief.
