You know what's still just lovely, but was even better in early 2020, as wild possibilities collided into one another in a brand-new promotion that barely relied on rematches? Or gifted you rematches that you were actually desperate to see?

You didn't expect to see those wrestlers work that match yet, wrestlers who used to work for those promotions share the same ring, those two storylines overlap so seamlessly. It was a dream factory.

As a "vibe," the cult favourite seg was even more stirring; the full run-down created a potent strain of anticipation and deepened the idea that AEW was a sports league that promoted fixtures instead of very obvious post-match angle alerts. At present, AEW lures fans in with approximately four prior match announcements.
