10 Things CM Punk Revealed In Colt Cabana Interview Part 2

9. Don't Chant "CM Punk" At His Wife

This complaint is certainly valid and it makes perfect sense that he would address it. Ever since his walkout in January, a percentage of the fanbase has taken to chanting his name at various intervals throughout the show. Oftentimes they do it during segments that they don't find entertaining as a form of protest. It's almost always chanted during AJ Lee matches, which presumably the "smart" fans are doing as a way to acknowledge their marriage and let her know they support her husband. Unfortunately the WWE views it as the fans not actually caring about AJ at all and ignoring whatever she's involved in. CM said it makes him uncomfortable and he was right to call attention to it. Chanting for anything other than the performers involved in a match or angle gives management the perception that the fans don't care about the talent involved, and if you truly support CM Punk, the last thing you should be doing is anything that may harm his wife's career.
