2. Nobody Has Won PWI's Most Popular Wrestler More Than Sting
Fan accolades can often mean very little to professional athletes, but in wrestling, there are plenty of honours issued by Professional Wrestling Illustrated that have plenty of prestige. And if Sting takes any interest in awards that are bestowed upon him, he'll certainly be proud of the fact that no other wrestler in the world has won their "Most Popular Wrestler" award more often than Sting. Unfortunately for "The Icon", he's not exactly in the most esteemed of company. For his four wins (the most, as we've touched on) that have seen him sit atop of the rankings are matched by four wins for none other than John Cena. So for all their differences and feuds throughout their career, at least Flair and Sting can sit down and share a cup of tea over the fact they will probably have a major accolade to their name that will ultimately be overtaken by John Cena. But for now, those four wins as "Most Popular Wrestler" of the year are pretty impressive indeed. Could a strong run with the WWE give him a chance of an unprecedented fifth?
