Match: Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega (AEW Revolution 2021)

Why People Hate It: Christ only knows what both Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega were thinking as their battered, bruised and bloodied bodies lay on the canvas watching/hearing Tony Khan's sparklers go off. This AEW Revolution 2021 blow off was WCW-esque in terms of sheer accidental comedy value.

How did this even happen?!

Everyone was warned going into this heavily-hyped 'Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch' that the ring would literally blow up after 30 minutes had elapsed. AEW's announcers went hard on this premise, and then the fireworks happened. They were the kind you'd see in a neighbour's back garden.

Mox and Omega had kicked the living sh*te out of each other for this. It was awful, and anyone watching had to feel bad for the pair. Thankfully, regardless of that crappy finish, the rest of the match is heralded as one of modern wrestling's best car crash brawls.
