10 Things Fan Should Expect From Goldberg's Last WWE Run

4. A Hall Of Fame Induction

WWE typically begins announcing their upcoming Hall Of Fame class shortly after the new year, and 2017 is unlikely to be any different. While there's plenty of legends that would make for great 2017 inductees, there's only one headliner each year and this year it's likely to be Goldberg.

Following the tradition of appearing in the WWE 2K video game and then going into the WWE Hall Of Fame the next year, Goldberg looks to join the Ultimate Warrior and Sting as Hall Of Fame headliners.

Should he be worked into WWE's creative plans for WrestleMania 33 and not just the HOF, there's already precedent for a superstar to do both: wrestle and get the ring. Ric Flair was inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 2008 and the very next night, he wrestled his final WWE match at WrestleMania XXIV. Goldberg could follow Flair as the only talent to get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame and compete at WrestleMania on the same weekend; Kevin Nash/Diesel can be considered too, if you count run-ins.

While The Rock has also been rumored to headline WWE's Class of 2017 in Orlando, Goldberg would be a more timely selection given his recent resurgence of popularity.
