5. NOT A World Title Run

Fans are expecting quite a few things out of Goldberg's last run, but a world title run should not be one of them.

Sure, the thought of one was enough to get fans fired up for the announcement that Goldberg would be entering the 2017 Royal Rumble match. It was also the storyline catalyst to get Goldberg back into the ring again after Survivor Series was presented as a one-shot deal, but let's face it. he won't be carrying the Universal or WWE Championship anytime soon.

At 49 years old, nostalgia would come with a Goldberg world title win, but it is something WWE will look to avoid. While another Lesnar/Goldberg match is imminent, it is high unlikely that it would be for the title.

The world title wasn't needed for their WrestleMania XX match back in 2004 and that hasn't changed in 2016. Of course, there is a possibility that he could find his way into the title picture somewhere on the Road to WrestleMania, but fans getting their hopes up for one last Goldberg world title run should temper their expectations.

We've seen audibles called before due to overwhelming fan support (see: Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX), but for now, it seems that Goldberg's last run will be without the gold.
