If there’s one thing TNA have done right over the years, it’s endear themselves to the international audience. From annual UK tours and British Impact tapings to their cross promotion with companies across the globe, TNA have always held international relationships as a high priority.

GFW’s recent foray into India with Impact tapings in Mumbai proves this trend hasn’t dwindled since the merger and the cross promotion of talent from AAA and Pro Wrestling NOAH supports this theory. But the practice of talent exchanging is far from a new concept for the Nashville company.

TNA have even gone as far as having their TNA World Heavyweight Championship defended on international competitors’ shows, notably when AJ Styles defended the title in AAA and Wrestle-1. Prior to that, Kurt Angle frequently travelled the world as TNA Champ, wearing the gold while defending his IWGP Championship in IGF and NJPW.

TNA even took their flagship event - Bound For Glory - to Tokyo's Korakuen Hall in 2014. With GFW now making a bigger effort than ever to establish themselves as a true Global Force in every sense, a similar experiment would set them apart from WWE even more and hosting another big PPV event internationally would be a great move.
