10 Things Happening In WWE Right Now You Wouldn't Have Believed 12 Months Ago
8. Natalya Back On Top
Now 35 years old, Nattie Neidhart has been in WWE for a over decade. Putting on great matches and winning championships along the way, 'The Hart Dungeon Diva' has done a great job continuing the legacy of the Hart family.
However, the continued promotion of NXT's talented females saw her overlooked in 2016. While WWE was lauding the success of the 'Women's Revolution', it was Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch gaining all the praise, while Nattie was left in the background.
Fast forward one calendar year and Natalya is the proud holder of the SmackDown Women's Championship. While Neidhart's latest title reign may seem like a shock to some, it's far from undeserving.
Natalya is one of the most technically skilled females in the company, and her recurring presence on Total Divas has kept her relevant in the division as the years have gone by.
The Women's Division has a lot of depth as a whole, but spread across two brands can leave the variety of women on each show a little thin on the ground. As such, Nattie has benefited greatly and seen her stock rise tenfold almost out of nowhere. Her wealth of experience will help to elevate her competition and should benefit the division greatly.
