Bad Luck Fale gets a lot of shade thrown his way, and sometimes it is justified. The big Tongan seems less and less mobile with every passing tour, and seeing him in Bullet Club multi-man matches is no longer entertaining.

The power of the G1 certainly struck the big man however, as he proved once again that he may very well be the best booked big man in wrestling. Think about it; in those six-man bouts against young lions and whoever else, Fale is unstoppable. He wipes the floor with the young lions and juniors, looking as imposing as possible.

Fale also picks up enough wins against top level players to be considered a true threat and a valuable roadblock for the big names. In this tournament he picked up a win against Okada, guaranteeing himself an IWGP Heavyweight Championship match between now and January 4th.

The Underboss of Bullet Club also has the most protector finisher in the business in the shape of the Bad Luck Fall, a crucifix bomb that draws gasps from audiences when it is threatened. You might not be big on Fale but the man excels at his purpose.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
