Born after the wildly-successful Cruiserweight Classic, 205 Live had an uneventful start. While their roster was stacked to the brim with spectacular wrestlers, the division was focused far too heavily on mediocre storylines and less on the no-BS wrestling that made the Cruiserweight Classic so great. Couple this with the talents playing a proverbial game of Hot Potato with the Cruiserweight Championship, and you've got a show that's difficult to remain invested in.

Now that Triple H has assumed creative control of the brand, however, the show appears to be going more in the direction it should've gone.

Lately, the show has put less of an emphasis on storylines and more on the awe-inspiring things that these men can do in a wrestling ring. With guys like Mustafa Ali, Kalisto, and Cedric Alexander delivering high-quality performances week after week, 205 Live has evolved from an unexceptional RAW B-show to a thrilling display of in-ring acuity.
