10 Things John Cena Haters Should Stop Complaining About
8. Wrestling Ability
When John Cena is in the ring, a chorus of "you can't wrestle" chants is almost inevitable. Every time Cena attempts to execute a move that's outside of his usual move set, there tends to be a shout of derision from the anti-Cena segment of the WWE Universe. In a recent match with Cesaro on Raw, Cena used a number of moves that were unusual for him. Despite the high quality of the match, a huge portion of the Twitter discussion around the bout focused on one botched hurricanrana. It's as if the anti-Cena crowd was watching the match like a hawk, waiting for him to get something wrong. Whilst it is natural for the top guy to be under closer scrutiny than everyone else, it can often feel as if people are simply looking for a reason to criticise Cena. That's not to say that Cena is an excellent in-ring performer. There are comfortably a dozen guys in WWE who can wrestle a better match, but that doesn't mean that Cena is undeserving of his spot at the top. Professional wrestling is about far more than being able to execute thousands of submission holds perfectly. Like him or not, John Cena is the complete package and his wrestling ability is a big part of that.
