10 Things Lapsed Fans Think During WrestleMania Season
2. Wow, Vince McMahon Got Old
Nobody can exactly blame Vince McMahon for this, everyone obviously ages over time. That in mind, it must be striking for those who haven't tuned in since McMahon was feuding with Steve Austin to see how much the WWE owner has aged since then. In fact, going further, it probably marks quite a sad moment for those lapsed viewers who are looking to rekindle their youth. Vince is clearly in fantastic physical shape for a 70+ year old man, he still adheres to a strict workout regime that keeps him on top form. He has aged noticeably over the past 10 years though, that fact can't be overlooked. Seeing the process gradually is never quite as shocking as seeing 'before' and 'after' evidence. People who watched during the 'Attitude' Era will probably expect McMahon to look a little older, but there will be raised eyebrows upon first seeing him appear on camera again. Seeing important and memorable figures from childhood now is something many are fascinated by, so it must be a poignant moment for those who choose to watch some WWE shows in the lead up to WrestleMania and see McMahon.
