10 Things We Learned From Dean Ambrose On Talk Is Jericho

3. Main Eventing Hell In A Cell

Chris Jericho discusses how early in the week before Hell in a Cell there was an internal debate about which match should go on last between Cena vs. Orton and Ambrose vs. Rollins, but Dean says that he heard the night before they were going on fourth and then late the next day he was told they would be closing the show. He's appreciative of the feeling that chance to go on last gave him because it validated his position in the company and made he and Seth feel like the company views them on equal ground as established superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton. He also says he didn't really realize it until a couple days later, but it's a safe bet that that may be the cool kid talking and not wanting to come off like a mark, but he would be entirely justified being enthusiastic about his first WWE pay-per-view main event.
