10 Things We Learned From Dixie Carter's Podcast Interviews

TNA's boss takes to the podcast circuit to promote the company's move to a new channel.

It€™s been quite an eventful few months for Dixie Carter and TNA. The company has been on a turbulent ride lately, from downsizing the roster in a cost-cutting measure that saw the departure of some of their top stars, to the end of their relationship with Spike TV and the move to Destination America. The TNA head honcho has been the recipient of much derision and criticism among the internet wrestling community as well as from several of her peers within the business for what is perceived to be naivety, but true fans of the industry should want TNA to succeed, so hopefully beneath all that rhetoric and bluster lies a shrewd businesswoman who has taken the proper steps to ensure the survival of her promotion. With the €œrelaunch€--a loosely applied term in this case--of TNA programming taking place recently Carter took to the wrestling podcast circuit to answer questions on the future of the company and spread her message for what the future holds for TNA. Appearing with both Jim Ross and Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch, Dixie fielded all kinds of questions ranging from financial to creative, and for the most part answered them with confidence, even if some of her responses didn€™t exactly inspire confidence in TNA€™s fans. Let€™s take a look at ten of the most noteworthy things we learned from Dixie Carter during her podcast appearances.
