10 Things We Learned From Dixie Carter's Podcast Interviews

10. The Name Is Still Undecided

Both Jim Ross and wade Keller pressed Dixie on what name her company would be operating under-whether they would be known as TNA or Impact Wrestling going forward. Her answer was a little ambiguous, leading us to believe the matter still isn't decided entirely. Carter did acknowledge the negative connotations that are associated with the name TNA, saying that even she herself has struggled with it at times, but that TNA has a legacy among the fans. To be perfectly honest, that legacy isn't necessarily something that they should be fighting to hold onto, and in this case a full-on name change would have been the best route to take. She basically summed it up saying that TNA remains the corporate name, Impact is their Raw, and that's how it would be going forward.
