Jericho and Layfiend discuss former WWE, WCW and TNA creative genius/madman/imbecile Vince Russo and his value to the WWE's success. JBL says that he and Simmons didn't like Russo and he probably didn't like them, but in fairness he says he didn't deal with him enough to properly comment on his impact on the creative direction. He says that regardless of who the writers are, whether it's Russo, Ed Koskie, Brian Gewirtz or whoever, everything still runs through Vince McMahon, so it's hard to say how much credit anyone else deserves. Both Jericho and JBL say that despite the worry of some of the talent, no one in the WWE office stressed over Russo's departure to WCW at all.
