WWE didn't do much talking about the thought of The Rock tangling with Bloodline cohort Roman Reigns during the Raw after 'Mania. Reigns wasn't there for the show, so there wasn't much Triple H could book to sow some seeds. Perhaps 'The Game' thinks Roman's errant spear during night one's tag match was build enough.

He's likely correct there.

Still, it's a little shocking that the company didn't start some year long hype towards Roman vs. Rock at WrestleMania 41. Most fans and critics alike thought that'd be a shoe-in for this episode of Raw, but we didn't get a whiff of it. WWE are keeping this mega-match (one of the biggest they have in reserve) on ice for now.

The Rock will slink back into the background for a while, and Roman is sure to get some time off post-title run too. Longer term, there's no getting away from the fact that their clash will be huge box office for the promotion. WWE has elected to sit on that for a while longer.
