Ric Flair has always been one wrestler who has taken pride in his performance. During the 1980's, it wasn't uncommon for the man to wrestle for an hour, giving fans true value for their money and earning a reputation as one of the hardest-working men in the entire industry. In TNA, Flair seemed to be phoning it in for the majority of his tenure, living off of past glories. Let's face it, the man is likely on auto pilot as the 'Jet flyin', kiss stealin' son of a gun' nowadays, and it's fair to surmise that his on-screen character isn't a million miles away from his actual personality when the cameras switch off. One of the most offensive things the 'Nature Boy' ever said about TNA was that whilst Dixie Carter was a lovely person, she didn't exactly have the highest standards for her show. This was a confusing statement, because Flair was part of the company at the time he uttered such remarks, words that did little to put his employer over.
