10 Things Stone Cold Must Ask The Undertaker On WWE Network Podcast
7. Kane
In Late 1997, Kane debuted at Badd Blood during the first ever Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. From that moment, his career would forever be linked to his "brother" The Undertaker. Paul Bearer had been blackmailing The Deadman about a deep dark hidden secret in order to get Undertaker to acquiesce to his demands. After months of mind games Kane appeared, and became a lifetime ally and opponent of The Undertaker.
Over the years, Kane developed his own Hall Of Fame career largely off of being The Undertaker's doppleganger. Occasionally, Taker is brought up in Kayfabe terms as a way to stick it to Kane about what he's become in storyline.
Nevertheless, Austin bringing up Kane is sure to evoke some type of real emotion from Taker, as it could be argued that while Taker pretty much birthed Kane, Kane breathed life into The Undertaker character, and allowed his journey to take many twists and turns. There's bound to be a closeness among those two that we've never really heard about before. Honestly, how much longer could people keep stealing the urn as the main point of contention in Undertaker feuds before people got tired of it?
