10 Things Surprisingly Shorter Than WWE WrestleMania 33
5. Time Taken For Bob Dylan To Record His Debut Album
Bob Dylan recorded his 1962 self-titled debut album in just six hours. If he started during the pre-show, he could have finished up and still had time to watch Goldberg Vs. Lesnar.
The Minnesota born singer/songwriter found fame in the 1960s with his politically-charged anthems that inspired a generation and led to a career that’s still going strong over 50 years later. However, it all started with his first release, an album that didn’t receive much commercial nor critical success, but did give the world classic tunes such as Man of Constant Sorrow and Song for Woody - songs which would go onto to rank along with some of his best work.
The recording sessions spanned two days, totaling six hours and costing $402. The album mostly consisted of 11 folk standards and two original Dylan compositions resulting in 13 tracks. This meant he could have recorded a track for every match on the WrestleMania 33 card. That’s an impressive feat, especially considering the fact Bob Dylan was only 21 years of age at the time of recording.
