10 Things That Could Happen On The Raw Following WWE WrestleMania 39

7. Seth Rollins Challenges Cody Rhodes

Batista World Heavyweight title

It's a straightforward selection, Seth Rollins being the first to challenge WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, but much of the thinking behind it comes down to a process of elimination.

With the assumption that the WWE and Universal titles are indeed split, it automatically eradicates all SmackDown contenders from the picture. From the current Raw lineup, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will likely be the Undisputed Tag Team Champions post-WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar is leaving (for a bit, anyway), though he wouldn't work WrestleMania Backlash anyway. Bobby Lashley is too far removed from contention with whatever Bray Wyatt is doing, if that's still a thing. Finn Balor will be too knackered from what could - see: should - be a callous Hell in a Cell fight vs. Edge; 'The Rated R Superstar' is thus also off the table. AJ Styles and Randy Orton are hurt. Matt Riddle's in rehab and/or suspended. John Cena isn't sticking around for more than a post-'Mania Raw skit.

Who's left? Luke Gallows? Humberto? Baron Corbin?

It'll be Seth Rollins until someone else becomes available, bar any Draft changes, NXT call-ups, and arrivals from Japan.

More on the latter in a bit...
