10 Things That Happened AFTER Wrestling Matches That WWE Won’t Tell You
3. Chris Jericho Wants To Fight Brock Lesnar
Let it be known that Chris Jericho has balls.
He was concerned for Randy Orton's health after watching Brock Lesnar beat the snot out of him at SummerSlam 2016, and wanted to know if anyone had checked to see if his friend had a concussion. According to talkSPORT's write up on the incident, Dave Meltzer reported that Jericho only 'got hot' when Michael Hayes wouldn't clue him in.
Things escalated to the point that Lesnar, who had heard Jericho shouting that the finish was "bullsh*t", confronted Chris about things and the pair had to be pulled apart. Vince McMahon then told Jericho that the bloody conclusion to Brock's match was a work, and asked him to calm down; the boss also reportedly admonished 'Y2J' for being unprofessional.
WWE likely don't want fans knowing that Jericho got in Lesnar's face and was presumably willing to fight him at Gorilla. The current AEW star refused to back down from one of the scariest humans walking the planet - he's either insane or fearless. Or both.
