10 Things That Must Be On The AEW Streaming Service
1. Being The Elite
Like All In, Matt and Nick Jackson’s strange blend of road diary and kayfabe-heavy sketch show is a part of AEW’s DNA. Their YouTube show was used to build All In and announce the original Double Or Nothing, AEW’s first ever live event.
Yes, Being The Elite is all available for free on YouTube, but it should also be collected neatly on AEW’s official streaming platform. Not only do many AEW regulars feature on BTE, but much of the company’s lore and legend has been woven into the show. Despite the light and playful tone, BTE segments helped add depth and colour to 'Hangman' Adam Page’s journey and helped characters like Mr. Brodie Lee and John Silver connect with the core AEW audience.
It’s silly to ask fans to hop between platforms to trace those dots, and no one wants to have to switch between apps to follow a story. Of course, having BTE on an official AEW platform probably depends on a good working relationship with The Young Bucks, but there is more than one good reason for Tony Khan to secure that for the future.
