10 Things That Must Be On The AEW Streaming Service
6. Curated Playlists
This is a feature many fans would welcome: curated playlists that provide the matches and segments that make up AEW's greatest feuds. State of the art wrestling is all very well, but most wrestling fans are just as invested in the promo battles or the soapy melodrama that comes along with pro wrestling.
YouTubers like Outside Interference have proven that cutting together the segments that make up Hangman’s rise, or MJF and CM Punk’s rivalry, into one, easily viewable whole makes for satisfying viewing. AEW should be essentially doing the same thing with the added benefit of the full, relevant matches.
Of course, this is ultimately just a repackaging of existing material in a slightly more convenient form, but that convenience adds more value than any amount of original programming. The ability to easily relive the weeks a half blind Jon Moxley spent battling his way past The Inner Circle to get his hands on Chris Jericho’s World Title is preferable to getting AEW’s take on Ride Along or Table For Three.
This would also give their streaming service an edge over market leaders WWE, who have never really mastered this despite the Network being the best part of a decade old at this point.
