Tying into the previous point, as much as Triple H needs to feature more prominently, Rollins, on the other hand, does not.

Obviously, his injury means we won’t be seeing him in any kind of physical action. As mentioned previously, though, keeping shtum on the Rollins situation—which includes avoiding any backstage interviews or promo segments—will make his eventual return all the more effective when it does finally arrive.

Plus, keeping Rollins out of the public eye gives Triple H time to not only return to the forefront, but to consider himself safe from any kind of threat and therefore let his guard down. At which point, the trigger should be pulled on Rollins’ return, allowing him to get one of over on the Game for the first time since this rivalry began.

Having Rollins around for promos or other segments would run the risk of having him run down, albeit in a verbal capacity. But after the mishaps he’s already suffered along the way, that’s the last thing his character needs heading into this potentially show-stealing rivalry.
