10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Payback 2016

3. Dean Ambrose Picks Up A Win Against Chris Jericho

That old familiar telegraph booking may come into play by the time Payback airs. On Monday Night Raw, Chris Jericho locked Dean Ambrose in his trademark Walls Of Jericho submission move.

This left the babyface screaming in agony on the announce desk, and the whole thing came across wonderfully.

Ambrose now has clear motivation to get back at Jericho. The 'Lunatic Fringe' should be absolutely furious about what transpired on the flagship show, meaning he comes flying out of the gates.

At Payback, Jericho vs. Ambrose must start with a brawling segment that outlines the contempt each man has for the other.

Jericho arguably doesn't need a win as much as Ambrose does. At WrestleMania, Y2J won his match against AJ Styles, whereas Dean fell to defeat opposite Brock Lesnar. Losing to 'The Beast' isn't the worst result in the world, but he badly needs to get back on the winning side of things.

There's no reason why Ambrose can't win, leading to a flustered Jericho challenging him to a stipulation bout at Extreme Rules.
