10 Things That Must Happen Before WrestleMania 34

3. AJ Styles Vs. Brock Lesnar

It looks increasingly likely that the forthcoming Superstar Shake-up will send AJ Styles to Raw, with one of the red brand’s major players heading in the opposite direction. While AJ will be a massive loss to SmackDown, there are countless exciting possibilities for him on Monday nights, particularly if his handshake with Shane McMahon is the started of an expected babyface turn.

It’s hard to imagine Styles not tearing the house down against any of Raw’s top heels, but a feud with Brock Lesnar is by far the most enticing option. It’s a match that could easily headline WrestleMania (or any other pay-per-view) on star-power alone, and as two of WWE’s most exciting competitors, Lesnar and Styles would surely produce an all-time classic together.

With Brock seemingly set to face Roman Reigns at next year’s Mania, booking the Beast Incarnate against AJ for SummerSlam or Survivor Series makes sense. It’s a certified dream match, but with both competitors pushing 40, WWE might not have much time left to book it. They must strike while the possibility is still on the table, or risk missing out on what could be one of the best bouts of either man’s career.
