10 Things That MUST Happen During CM Punk’s WWE Return

8. Punk Is Raw Exclusive (For Now)

CM Punk Paul Heyman WWE World Heavyweight Championship

One can see WWE trying to capitalise on Punk's comeback by booking ratings-boosting segments on Raw, SmackDown and NXT. In short, ol' CM might go on a tour of every brand the promotion has to offer, then eventually settle into a groove on the flagship heading into 'Mania season.

Thanks, but no thanks.

It's important that Punk is booked exclusively as an attraction for Raw. SmackDown has Roman Reigns anyway, and that's enough (along with United States Champ and genuine celeb Logan Paul) to keep things locked down on the blue side. Solely dangling CM Punk in front of the Monday night crowd is a real must.

WWE does a frankly crap job of making their Draft mean a thing every single time they do one. Keep Punk exclusive to Raw, then make a lot of noise about his eventual jump to SmackDown in 12-18 months and...maybe fans will start to care about this brand stuff again.

Maybe.
