7. He Wins The Royal Rumble
Granted, some people out there aren't going to like this.
LA Knight, GUNTHER and even Cody Rhodes have all been suggested as possible men's Royal Rumble match winners. Cody would be repeating his trick from 2023 just to set up a rematch vs. Roman Reigns, so he might be considered the least likely of the trio. WWE could get there rather easily sans Rumble triumph.
There'd be howls about unfairness in some quarters if Punk returned to the company mix and scooped someone else's 30-man glory too, but such is life. Keep in mind that the Rumble is supposed to ready wrestlers for guaranteed World Title matches at WrestleMania. Is that really going to happen for Knight in 2024?
LA vs. Roman isn't as big as Cody vs. Reigns II. Similarly, Knight vs. Seth Rollins doesn't sing with the same vibrance as Punk vs. Rollins. Yep, it seems 'Mr. Pipebomb' might've just put himself in the frame to win out come January.
He'll be a lot happier than he was back in 2014, that's for sure.
