10. Vader Winning WWE Title From Shawn Michaels At Survivor Series 1996

The main event of Survivor Series 1996 saw Sycho (WWE spelling is great!) Sid defeat Shawn Michaels to win his first WWE Title, thanks to the use of a camera at ringside. That wasn't the original plan, though. Vader was originally going to beat Michaels for the WWE Title at SummerSlam 1996, but Michaels got that changed and he retained after a couple of false finishes. Then Vader was going to beat Michaels for the WWE Title at Survivor Series 1996 in Madison Square Garden with the idea that he would drop it back to Michaels two months later at the Royal Rumble in Shawn's hometown of San Antonio. The plan changed because Michaels didn't like working with Vader because Vader was a bigger guy and was really stiff in the ring. Since Michaels was the WWE Champion, as well as the most influential performer in WWE, he usually was able to get things changed around whenever he wanted. WWE inserted Sid in Vader's spot, he won the WWE Title and then dropped it back to Michaels at the Royal Rumble. As for Vader, he never reached main event status in WWE again, even though he should have been used a lot better. At least the Michaels/Sid match produced this memorable visual...
