10 Things That Prove 2017 Is WWE's Weirdest Year Ever

9. Enzo Leading The Cruiserweight Division

The Cruiserweight division has been led by Funaki, Nunzio and Hornswoggle, so - even in its (allegedly much improved) reincarnated form - few fans, a year ago, would have been surprised to learn that Enzo was next in line to the throne.

What's weird, however, is the timing. Enzo is in perhaps the best moment of his career at precisely the same time we're hearing report after report of him disrespecting his backstage elders by inviting groupies behind the curtain and generally being a tour coach nuisance.

Normally, that sort of behaviour would put you to the very back of the queue, yet in the case of the Certified G, WWE is actually incorporating his perceived personal shortcomings as part of his kayfabe shtick (which, apart from anything else, is probably enraging for Baron Corbin).

This could, however, merely be yet another sign that Vince and co don't care one iota for 205 Live, which may not survive too long into 2018 unless we see a dramatic turnaround.
