8. Jason Jordan-Angle
Many WWE goings-on have required the fans to suspend (or even permanently expel) their disbelief, but few have caught us off our guard quite like the Kurt Angle-Jason Jordan saga.
It just came absolutely out of nowhere, Angle having never so much as glanced in the direction of the former American Alpha member - who had, himself, scarcely been on TV for months - before breaking the news that he was his long lost, illegitimate son.
It's not as "out there" as storylines past - Lita being impregnated by Kane, for instance, or Undertaker kidnapping Stephanie McMahon - but it's weird by being so incredible mundane. It is, literally speaking, feasible - Jordan being 29 and Angle 48 - it's just that, in the reality era, we all know for a fact that it's totally not true.
And we have absolutely no idea how it will end (or indeed if it will end at all; perhaps this will just be Jason Jordan's WWE career until the day he retires). Not many angles (if you'll pardon the pun) have ever been as strangely directionless as this one.
