10 Things That Would Be Happening In WWE If Fans Could Vote
7. Raw Going Back To 2 Hours
Ask the average WWE fan what the company’s biggest problems are in 2016 and Raw’s 3-hour show will likely be near the top of the list. The complaints are well-worn at this point, but still highly valid.
Raw is far too long in its current format, and sitting through these gigantic weekly shows can be a soul-destroying undertaking, particularly with WWE’s propensity to stuff them with filler and endless talking segments. Raw needs to be trimmed before the ratings can truly recover, and it won’t be happening any time soon.
WWE’s current hierarchy have continually reaffirmed their desire to stick to a 3-hour show, but this would be one of the first things to go if the fans were given a voice. Condensing Raw would focus the writers to sharpen their focus, cut back on pointless segments, and hopefully present a product more in-line with the high quality shows SmackDown have been cranking-out since the Brand Split.
Such a decision would likely forgo a big wedge of advertising revenue, but perhaps it’d be worth it to recover some of those lost viewers.
