Vince McMahon loves a sh*tty joke.

No really, he does. Watch enough WWE TV over the past 20 years and you'll see enough faeces, pee-pee, sexual innuendo, farting and vomit to last a lifetime. The boss loves that sh*t (literally), and it's why there's been so much toilet humour in his company since the Attitude era cranked up the silly dial.

Much like the dilution of authority figure effectiveness, it's something that needs to go. WWE, at some point, are gonna' have to sit down and realise that their fixation with scatological banter isn't very funny, and it's not something they should rely on to sell feuds. Case in point: the porta-potty nonsense between Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens.

It's OK to throw up (ahem) the odd frat-boy prank every now and then if it suits the story, but WWE's over-reliance on toilet humour has become hellish to sit through. When even young kids aren't laughing, you know it's time to throw in the towel.
