10 Things That’d RUIN WWE’s 2024

4. The Rock’s Ego Runs Wild

The Rock's reborn "Final Boss" form was a blessing on WrestleMania season, but it didn't always look like that was going to be the case. Cast your minds back to Cody Rhodes willingly stepping aside for 'The Great One' before WWE corrected that mistake. It's just as well they did, 'cause Rock replacing Cody would've stamped out Rhodes' story and Royal Rumble win all at once.

Watch this space - Rock's story might not be finished just yet.

He'll return eventually, and it could be disastrous for Cody when he does. Dwayne Johnson clearly has huge influence behind the scenes in 2024. What if he decides he'd quite like to hold the WWE Title again, and Triple H goes along with that plan? Overnight, Rhodes would be dwarfed but powerless to stop it.

This is a crucial title reign for Cody. He's replacing a generational champ like Roman Reigns, and it'd suck if he was more of a transitional titleholder than a fully-fledged hero. Unfortunately for Rhodes and his fans, Rocky has the power to book his own power fantasy.
