10 Things TNA Got Right

4. The Ultimate X Match

Tna X Division On first glance the Ultimate X match may appear to be the demented dream of an overactive lunatic. But once again TNA managed to plant their flag in the soil of the wrestling world and mark their territory. Incredibly innovative and allowing for some of the most jaw dropping and awe inspiring spots seen on television, the Ultimate X match is an unquestionable success. The signature match of the X-Division, it has become one of TNA's most popular attractions. The King of the Mountain match was too convoluted to be taken seriously and Lethal Lockdown was basically just War Games. But the Ultimate X match managed to be both simple and unique, and perfectly encompass the alternative identity that TNA needed to establish in order to seperate themselves from WWE. While the match itself has lost some of it's drawing power, due to TNA's insistence of holding more than one per year and giving them away for free on Impact Wrestling, the Ultimate X will go down in history as one of TNA's greatest ever contributions to professional wrestling.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
