10 Things TNA Wants You To Forget About Kurt Angle

1. WWE Was His First Choice

For those of you who have followed Kurt's free agency this past year, it should come as no surprise that this one would land at the top spot. Kurt Angle, the name, the face, the recent Hall Of Fame inductee of TNA, had openly and often made known his desire to return to the WWE. As far back as July, he went on record saying that he turned down a multi-year extension TNA had offered him, when he sat down for the Jim Ross podcast. He admitted to Pro Wrestling 101 that if he signed with WWE this would be his last contract and if he signed with TNA it would not. It was also reported from the Wrestling Observer that it was Angle himself who pitched the idea of a WWE return, not the other way around. Every Kurt Angle fan wanted him to resurface at some point inside a WWE ring. Having the man himself so openly admit it cannot sit well with his current employer. For all the good will Kurt has provided and all the viewers he has attracted to Impact Wrestling, these are a few things they may just want you to forget.
