10 Things TNA Wants You To Forget About Matt And Jeff Hardy

9. Jeff's 2005 Suspensions

Jeff Hardy

After his mediocre debut, Jeff disappeared for a month, only to return and receive a World Heavyweight title shot. Jeff soon signed on with the young company full-time, but six months into his run he was suspended for missing a pay-per-view match against Raven. He cited travel difficulties for his failure to appear. Hey, these things happen!

Four months later he returned, and found himself suspended again by year’s end. He was scheduled for Turning Point in December to wrestle in a pre-show match, but once again missed to due travel difficulties.

He was suspended again, later released, and didn’t appear for the company again until 2010. Yeah, these things don't really happen twice in a year.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
