8. Utilizing Female Talent In A Positive Way
It seems like TNA cares about their female performers more than WWE, at least in terms of the kinds of matches they had. While they are currently pretty thin in terms of the number of women they employ, they usually do a good job of giving them storylines and allowing them the opportunity to have longer matches. The Awesome Kong/Gail Kim feud was the one that sticks out the most. They really took women's wrestling to another level. Kong was the perfect heel monster while Kim showed how talented she was as the babyface that kept on fighting back. It was a natural rivalry that worked from the moment they started feuding. Then there are feuds like when Gail wrestled Taryn Terrell and it really put Taryn on the map as a solid wrestler. They had all kinds of stipulation matches too. There was also a time in December 2010 when Mickie James headlined Impact with Tara in a Steel Cage Match, which included Mickie jumping off a cage to take her out. It was very impressive. If you're frustrated with the lack of in-ring time for WWE girls on their main shows, give TNA a look. They do a better job of showcasing their women sometimes.
