10 Things Triple H Doesn't Get Enough Credit For
8. Pushing For More Serious Women's Wrestling
Women's wrestling has rarely been taken seriously in the WWF/WWE over the years; indeed, for much of Triple H's run in the company there has been a heavy reliance on sex appeal over actual in-ring ability, and this was most prevalent during the 'Attitude Era' of the late-1990's.
The 'female revolution' that started to sweep through NXT before gripping the main roster in the Summer of 2015 wasn't an accident, and was in fact a culmination of efforts from men like Triple H to allow women the same level playing field as their male counterparts in the promotion.
Far too often, the rise of female athletes in WWE has been palmed off as a happy coincidence; the influx of talent like Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley has helped, but their skills would have counted for nothing had someone not been going to bat for them behind the scenes in WWE.
It's clear from listening to interviews with the organisation's COO that Triple H has played a major role in bringing women's wrestling to the forefront of the WWE product, and that fact is criminally overlooked by the man's critics.
