A lifelong fan of the 'Nature Boy', it must have been a dream for Triple H to join forces with Ric Flair as part of Evolution in January, 2003; Flair had already been at HHH's side throughout 2002 and acted as a heel manager, but now they would be wrestling partners in the new group.

Not content to steal all of the spotlight for himself, 'The Game' drafted in a young Batista and Randy Orton combo with the express aim of using his and Flair's main event stardom to upgrade both main roster newcomers.

Evolution was born, and the entire project worked a treat from start to finish.

Orton and Batista were enhanced by association, and both would go on to become World Champions in their own right; Batista even defeated Triple H at WrestleMania 21 in 2005 for his first World Title, before feuding with his ex-mentor for the next few months.

Despite being called out for ruining careers by his critics over the years, the defensive part of Triple H can nod towards Evolution as responsible for making two fresh WWE headliners.
