If it were up to Triple H, part-time performers in WWE would likely be a thing of the past, and you can look at his relationship with Chris Jericho as evidence of that fact.

Jericho has Vince convinced he's helping WWE by showing up once and a while, all while wrestling for New Japan, promoting his own cruise and discussing companies like ROH and Impact Wrestling on social media. While Vince lets Jericho do almost anything he wants, Triple H has gotten into heated arguments with Jericho over segment ideas and shot down his request to use NXT talent on his cruise.

So too, there's a sense Triple H has lost patience for a guy like Brock Lesnar and his mockery of the Universal Title. The champion since April of 2017, Lesnar has wrestled very few matches but leveraged the WWE for money at seemingly every turn. Triple H has declined to comment on Lesnar's status when asked, merely saying things like "he makes it challenging."

By looking at his relationship with Ronda Rousey, Triple H knows there's a place for talents who are meant to draw in viewers and may not work 300-days a year, but he's got her working close to full time on TV and making WWE her number one priority.
