If you've watched Triple H as an executive over the past couple years, you'll notice a trend; he often shows up for indie promotions almost as much as he does for WWE.
Why?
He believes that the key to the long-term success of finding new WWE Superstars revolves around the relationships he develops with promotions all over the world.
Whether it be his time spent in the UK, his work with EVOLVE or PROGRESS Wrestling, Triple H is popping up for smaller companies left, right and center - and he's expanding their relationships. The latest buzz is that WWE may be in negotiations to purchase EVOLVE outright.
Triple H wants to shine a light on these smaller promotions. He's also not shy about working with bigger ones. In June, when asked if there was ever a chance of WWE working with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Triple H said there is always an opportunity for cross-promotional events and, under right circumstances, he's open to just about anything.
A WWE and NJPW cross-promotional event is a delicious idea, but it's hard to imagine Vince being as quick to jump on board.
