Renee also wanted to know more about the shift WWE's NXT brand has gone through since moving to USA Network in 2019. Did Adam Cole see a major change in how the show was presented? Nah, not really. If anything, he experienced total creative freedom right up until leaving.

He and Kyle O'Reilly had the freedom to do anything they wanted at TakeOver 36, which he's grateful for. It was important that they ended their Undisputed Era story on their terms, and Cole appreciated everyone butting out so they could have the best match possible.

Now, with NXT 2.0, Adam knows things will be different.

It is interesting that he says he "never experienced or dealt with the change whatsoever". Perhaps WWE chiefs just left Cole alone because they trusted him to adapt. Or maybe they knew he'd be leaving anyway deep down. He's not sure - he just knows he got to do whatever he liked for four wonderful years.
