Black had grand plans in the summer of 2020.

He wanted to springboard out of that short issue with Kevin Owens into a lengthy saga that'd take him to the very top of WWE. Firstly, Aleister liked the thought of showing his "cruel" side by kidnapping Rey Mysterio's family and holding them hostage. That'd turn him into someone with a harder edge after the aforementioned eye injury angle.

Then, Black would turn his attention to shooting down Murphy (who rammed him into the steel steps). After that, he'd cut off the head of the preaching snake by feuding with Seth Rollins. Not content to stop there, he'd go after Bray Wyatt of all people. Why? Well, it was Bray's 'Fiend' who helped usher in Seth's 'Monday Night Messiah' change in the first place

That's pretty clever. Black said he loved the idea that he had a "hit list" of targets to go through one-by-one. That, eventually, would lead to the biggest pursuit of all, and maybe even the feud that'd cement Aleister's WWE status...
