8. MJF Is Going To Be A Star

The big names already signed to AEW have been grabbing all the headlines, but beneath them there’s now an entire roster with huge, huge opportunities to grasp. The eyes of the entire world were on Double or Nothing and, for many of them, this would have been the biggest show they’ve ever worked.

MJF is someone who’s star is on the rise, but it’s been largely in the UK and US Indies, as well as sporadic appearances on Being The Elite. As far as actual in-ring attention goes his biggest moment has probably been All In. Now though, positioned as he is as one of the company’s best heels, he could have a massive 2019.

His performance in the Casino Royale and the subsequent verbal dismantling of both Hangman Page and Bret Hart were two of the shows highlights. Any indy promotions still capable of booking would be wise to take advantage before he’s tied down permanently.
