10 Things We Learned From Attending WWE Raw After WrestleMania Live

6. Commercial Breaks Suck

This entry isn't exclusive to the Raw after WrestleMania. It's a problem encountered by everyone who has ever hit a TV taping, regardless of the occasion, and an issue shared by those watching at home.

But my god, were last night's commercial breaks tedious.

Sitting through Raw's myriad of advertisements at home is bad enough; somehow, it's even worse in person. You're left twiddling your thumbs as the show hits its obliged commercial spots. It kills the flow, momentum, and vibe, and while such things are essential on network television, that doesn't make them easier to deal with.

Worse yet is WWE's attempts at filling the gaps with in-arena entertainment. First, we got a rough segment pitting two 10-year-old children against each other in a wrestler nickname quiz. The winner was handed a signed Finn Balor t-shirt, and the loser? A sh*tty old picture of the soon-to-depart Dean Ambrose. Good. Later, we got a sign of the night contest, and yes, that is an actual thing that happened.
