The Becky Lynch on television would lead people to believe that they gave up on her to start rooting for Charlotte Flair. She'd chastise the fans for their support and mock them for cheering her now she's kicking ass. In reality however, Becky appreciates everyone who has stuck by her through thick and thin.

2017, certainly compared the prior year's main roster promotion and SmackDown Women's Title win, was dreadful for Lynch. All she had to hang her hat on was a positive fan response on house shows; at the time, Becky wasn't doing much on TV aside from appearing as a typical jobber-to-the-stars, and it was killing her inside.

Now, she wants to pay fans back for their support.

The truth is that Becky genuinely has kinship with her fan base. Despite playing the heel on camera, she enjoys representing those who always supported her when times were tough. That broke through more than once on the podcast.
