This one is a bit different, 'cause it's less to do with Lashley and more to do with Austin. It's still fun though. Picture the scene: 'Stone Cold' and Vince McMahon are watching Bobby vs. Umaga at WrestleMania 23. They know they should have the crowd in the palms of their hands, but they're disappointed by the lack of noise coming from the stands.

Both guys look at one another like, 'Why aren't they into this?'.

Afterwards, everyone agrees that 90% of the pops and heat inside Detroit's Ford Field were evaporating into thin air - the sound was going up instead of towards the ring. Hearing Austin's perspective on that, and his own personal fears that nobody gave a damn about the match, is fascinating.

Lashley was more focused on working the bout at hand and living up to the billing. He didn't particularly think the approx 80,000 inside the stadium were all that quiet, but appreciated what Steve was saying. These two radically different takes from a veteran and then-greenhorn were a highlight of the interview.
